I am looking for an AO5 Senior Project Officer - Grant Development, 9 month contract position with the possibility of extension or direct appointment. This role is in State Government. This role is until 31st December 2024!
This is a role that will suit someone who is looking to advance their career in a Grant Development role. The role will be fast paced, with a combination of Administration, research, Decision making, supporting project managers/SME’s, and using a high level of autonomy.

- Negotiate and implement grant agreements with successful applicants.
- Providing high level administrative support to project managers and team members
- Support the monitoring of project milestones, reporting and financial acquittal of the projects.
- Support grant management system administration (Smarty Grants), including contract entry and maintenance, milestone and acquittal requirements.
- Support the Secretariat function for various assessment panels, including coordination of meetings, governance and record keeping requirements, stakeholder engagement, and assist with compliance and eligibility assessments.
- Undertake and co-ordinate research, analysis and review of tourism product development, business and industry development, innovation activities and other strategic issues.
- Provide timely, high level briefings, submissions, reports, correspondence and presentations on a range of tourism investment, policy and program issues to Senior Management, the Minister, other government agencies and key stakeholders.
- You will have experience working within LOCAL, STATE or FEDERAL government.
- You will have worked with SMARTYGRANTS
- You have Grant Funding development experience.
- You have excellent attention to detail and pick up systems quickly.
