Dealer Relationship Manager - Marine QLD
Yamaha Motor Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Dealer Relationship Manager to join our highly successful marine team based in QLD.
If you are a team player who is highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starting individual, with an understanding of business development and account relationship management, this position will be a rewarding new challenge for you. You will be responsible for driving business results and promoting Marine business in the QLD market.
About the Role:
- Promote and sell Yamaha group products.
- Maintain wholesale and retail market share targets.
- Maintain retail Yamaha product penetration rate targets for “Finance and Insurance.
- Assist Dealers with Dealer Initiated Group Stocking Programme.
- Develop and manage the dealer network to maximise sales.
- Work with Franchising to appoint and manage dealer network.
- Conduct advertising and promotion activities through dealers to achieve sales targets.
- Complete Sales Forecasts and Market/Dealer/Competitor Reporting.
- Maintain and be actively involved in a high level of dealer product training.
- Co-ordinate and attend local, State, and national level boat shows – Field days held in QLD and interstate as required.
- Complete and maintain marketing plans with Dealers.
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- To demonstrate leadership skills, while being an effective team member.
- Be able to develop sales strategies through the analysis of multiple data sources.
- Efficient computer competency and time management skills.
- Must hold current car, boat and PWC licenses.
- Competent in towing and reversing large trailers.
