Adviser Assistant/Receptionist

We have an excellent opportunity for an Adviser Assistant/Junior Adviser in our Unley office on the outskirts of the Adelaide CBD. The Adviser Assistant plays an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business and assisting our Private Client Advisers.
 

Over time we would like to develop the successful candidate into transitioning into becoming a Private Client Adviser and develop and build their own book of clients.
 

Duties and responsibilities will include:

· Client Service- answering client phone calls and emails, preparing Financial Summary Reports, portfolio performance;
·Handling the Account opening process;
· Using Morgans internal CRM and Iress and assisting advisers to maintain and update client records;  
· Ensure advisers lodge bids by due dates, preparing letters of offers, recording and processing application forms;
 

· Distribution of holding statements and quarterly performance reports;
 

· General day to day duties as required;
 

· Preparation of presentation material.
 

The successful candidate will possess:

· RG146 favourable, but not essential
· Excellent Microsoft and excel skills along with the aptitude to learn new systems (e.g. e.g. IRESS)
· Above average written and verbal communication skills
· Corporate presentation
· Client service focus and good attention to detail
· Excellent time management skills
· A genuine interest in a career in financial services
· Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
