About the Role

Canberra Grammar School is seeking beginner and experienced coaches who are committed to developing students in their chosen sport. The role of a Co-curricular Sports Coach is to instruct students on fundamental skills and foster player development within a fun, inclusive and safe environment. We are looking for coaches interested in the following sports: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Climbing, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rugby, Strength & Conditioning, Swimming, Water Polo.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

• Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with effective communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with various levels of abilities across various age groups
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions
• Two professional references

All team members at CGS are required to have:

• Appropriate qualifications
• A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
• A current National Police Check; and
• Full working rights within Australia.
