Hays are proud to have partnered with a Government Agency to recruit a Temporary Full-Time Accounts Receivable Debt Recovery Specialist to join the team in Gympie. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of managing accounts receivable efficiently. 

Your new role 

• Temporary, until the end of June, with the potential for two 6-month extensions 
• Manage outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments 
• Liaise with clients, internal teams, and external agencies to resolve outstanding issues 
• Provide regular updates and correspondence. 
• Ensure adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements. 

What you'll need to succeed 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in accounts receivable and debt recovery is desirable
• Knowledge and proficiently in the Microsoft suite. 
• Strong administration skills
