We are working closely with a tier 2 developer builder that have a flagship project that needs a Defect Project Manager. This will be a high rise residential build.
Due to the nature of the projects there is a 2 year warranty clause where all defects needs to be addressed. The right person will be pushing back on any defects being overlooked, work closely with owners corp and the current residents living there.
Essential needs:
- You will ideally have a trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Engineering
- Strong skills managing all aspects of preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance.
- Proven experience in managing trade teams and successfully dealing with external stakeholders
- The ability to engage staff and ensure a culture of best practice in asset maintenance management
- Working knowledge of relevant compliance requirements, including regulations, codes and standards
- The ability to liaise with owners, executive committee members, strata management, Project Managers, trades and all other stakeholders
