About The Role

Join us as a Defence Senior Driver Specialist at the Puckapunyal Military Area. Assist in coordinating our Driver Specialist team, ensuring safe operation of Army wheeled vehicles day and night. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and safety, providing top-tier support to our Army units.

Selected Duties:
- Coordinate a small team of Driver specialists delivering logistic support at Puckapunyal.
- Apply your knowledge and skills to make decisions and resolve problems to deliver quality driver support.
- The position holder is required to develop and recommend efficiencies and strategies that will position Army and Wodonga TAFE effectively within a changing environment.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Driver Specialists ensuring the team members are provided with direction and support to undertake their role in achieving strategic and operational objectives.
About You
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Leadership or Management and /or relevant experience.
- Heavy Rigid licence.
- Must be an Australian citizen.
- Desirable - Experience in transporting dangerous goods or working in a Military environment.
- Desirable - Heavy Combination or Multi Combination licence and experience.
