AddressThe Hastings Co-operative Ltd is currently seeking a Deli Manager for our Wauchope IGA. The Deli Manager is a key member of the supermarket leadership team and is responsible for coaching the Deli team to deliver an exceptional store experience for our customers and members.
Hastings Co-op is a community-owned co-operative with businesses across the Hastings, employing more than 300 locals.
Our businesses include fuel, supermarkets, liquor stores, department store and car hire.

This is a full-time position, working to a roster arrangement which includes morning, evening and weekend shifts.

What success looks like in this role
- Monitor and assess the Deli performance targets to identify opportunities to meet wastage, shrinkage, quality control and sales targets.
- Lead, coach and develop the Deli team to provide an exceptional level of service and to ensure the Deli offering is to the highest of standards.
- Provide training to team members and assess processes to ensure food safety and compliance standards are adhered to at all times.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, to contribute to the Hastings Co-op brand philosophy and strategy.
