About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking an Installation and Service Operator (internally this role is called a Service Technician) for our Auscol division, based in Pinkenba, this role is suitable for someone who is looking for a new career opportunity as training will be provided. the responsibilities of the role will include
- Collection and delivery of oil storage tanks to and from customer sites
- Repairs and maintenance of storage tanks both at customer sites and at the depot
- Tank cleaning
- Providing training to customers on product use
About your experience
Candidates will have a drivers licence and ideally prior experience working in the service industry in delivery and or removals. Candidates will also display:
- Ability to liaise with customers
- An HC licence will be beneficial, or the desire to obtain one with our assistance
- Test and tag qualifications would be beneficial, or the desire to become accredited
- Please note the role will require lifting and driving
In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical. A current, valid driver’s licence is also required.
