The Delivery Lead role sits with Australia Retail & Commercial Technology Domain, Home Loans Portfolio Tech Area.
The Home Loans Portfolio is responsible for the end-to-end management of ANZ’s Home Loans customers, products, and systems. Our mission is to help customers buy, own, and sell their homes in a fair, honest and efficient manner by offering simple home loan products that are easy to set up and use.
The Delivery Lead will typically work closely with the leadership team to build the right capability and team culture required to deliver on the Portfolio customer outcomes. The role is responsible for developing Chapter Leads/members, building world class proficiency uplift across specialist Chapters within the Tech Area.
You’ll be a role model for our ways of working and you will provide Release Delivery Leadership and line management to your team / chapter. In addition, you will be passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing others to be the best versions of themselves.
Delivery Focus and leadership of the Release delivery outcomes for the Home Loans Portfolio. This will include providing delivery guidance, planning & support to the release leads, product owners and squads and problem-solving delivery obstacles should they occur. You may also contribute towards tribe and squad work where required to hone your craft.
Solve problems and issues that matter. You’ll work on providing options & approaches that make an impact to customers, stakeholders & Tech Area / chapter members. You will have laser sharp focus on the vendor operations, test & environments management, and performance engineering.
Own it. You’ll get to deliver end to end service, and shape how Home Loans Tech Area delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology by working with other Delivery Leads and/or experts/Chapter Leads across ANZ to align and build capability.
Thoughtful leader in your craft and develop it across the Home Loans Tech Area and the AR&C Domain. You will span across similar specialist Chapters and care for and nurture the growth of their Chapter members to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy.
What will your day look like
- Responsible for the Home Loans Bengaluru Technology team and a key member of the Tech Area Leadership Team
- Accountable for Home Loans Release Planning & Execution for ALL Home Loans Delivery.
- Accountable for Home Loans Release Testing, Environments & Performance Management
- Chapter Lead to CL Release Leads and Product Owner at Bangalore Home Loans Technology
- Responsible for the personal development and performance reviews for direct line of reporting
- Responsible for resourcing, capability uplift for Release leads chapter
- Responsible for strengthening the key stakeholder and vendor relationships in Bengaluru.
- Drives efficiency gains for delivery management, test management, environment management, performance engineering, automation, and general vendor operations management.
- Promotes a continuous development culture, coaches and establishes development plans for personal development.
- Recognizes and develops top-talent and proactively manages under-performance.
- Own the standards within area of expertise and ensure alignment with Home Loan / Domains strategy.
- Continuously seeks ways to grow own thinking and capability.
- Works with Product Area Lead, Tech Area Lead & Capability Area Lead to understand and plan for workforce capability needs for the Home Loans Bengaluru Tech Area
What will you bring?
- Strong delivery management experience with proven track record of managing large and complex delivery.
- Expertise in release train management, release planning and execution for complex, interdependent systems.
- Have managed multiple complex stakeholder relationships (Internal - Business and Technology, External Vendors)
- Have effectively managed vendors including operations, performance, workforce strategy and uplift in previous roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others. Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision maker.
- Experience developing and managing in house workforce and campus strategies to support current and future demand.
- Deep expertise in your specialization areas combined with broad capability and a proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest developments.
- Ability to quickly grasp new content and the ability to translate this to your Chapters.
- Manage & diffuse confrontational situations; treats others with respect, patience, and consideration.
- Open for constructive feedback and incorporates suggestions to achieve collective objectives.
