We are currently seeking a highly organized and analytical Demand & Inventory Coordinator to join our team based at Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, the Demand & Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, supplying finished goods and spare parts, and controlling the demand/supply planning process and order management tools.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the planning and coordination of machines and spare parts to maintain inventory levels and meet service and sales targets;
- Perform end-to-end tasks for purchase orders and logistics, ensuring the accurate delivery dates and timely receipt of goods;
- Work closely with stakeholders to control stock levels, manage excess stock, obsolete and slow-moving inventory and communicate gaps in supply vs. demand;
- Ensure effective order fulfilment of ad hoc requests;
- Assist Supply Chain & Logistics Manager with operations and projects to enhance processes service levels and efficiency;
- Drive initiatives for continuous process and performance improvement.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of demand and supply chain systems and processes
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A team player with a proactive, positive attitude and a ‘can-do’ approach to work
- Proven experience with sales planning and opportunity management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Professional presentation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with JDE or similar ERP system preferred.
