Our client, Pharmacor Pty Ltd. is a major competitor in the fast growing generic medicines market. The company offers a wide range of quality prescription and over the counter medicines. Client is seeking a dedicated, proactive and energetic team player to fill a full-time position for an experienced Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to coordinate the distribution of stock nation-wide and ensure optimum stock levels are maintained at all times.Logistics & Inventory Coordinator will plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of generic medicines. The position is a key contributor to the company's operational, quality, compliance, and commercial performance.In this role you will support key stakeholders in the management of the end-to-end procurement process.Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor degree or formal qualifications in Logistics and Inventory Management and at least three years of commercial or practical experience in the area of logistics and inventory management
- Responsible for developing supply chain end to end planning competency focus on process thinking, people leadership and department management
- Determine, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
- Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
- Ensure optimal supply timing, minimizing processing errors and preventing end-of-line delivery issues
- Identify alternative of logistic & 3/4PL providers
- Monitor distribution expenses on regular basis
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
- Manage supplier's relationship onboarding vendor process, contracts negotiation and certifications to meet quality requirements
- Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
- Analyse and prepare stock reports i.e. stock on hand, short expiry, slow movers, estimations of back in stock items
- Customer Relationship Management with Logistics associates at Distributors and Freight forwarding agents
- Develop demand plans to meet sales objectives
- Lead stock review meetings and reviewing sales forecasts
- Review and develop processes and procedures that will continually improve all supply and distribution functions and stock control at minimum cost
- Create an environment of shared leadership, promote people strategies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to effectively manage supplies
