We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Demand Planner and Logistics Specialist on a permanent, full time basis commencing in May 2024. This role is based at our headquarters in Clayton, VIC and may involve occasional international travel.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Leading and facilitating the Sales and Operations Planning process within the business unit.
- Collaborating with the Marketing and Sales team to gather input on future sales, while setting the right demand forecast and inventory level to support the sales growth target.
- Providing support to the business unit by coordinating various tasks and acting as a primary operational contact point between the business and internal and external stakeholders.
- Enable the business unit deliver predictable financial and transparent results that help achieve service delivery, inventory management, and profitability targets.
- Engaging with Suppliers, Supply Chain teams and other stakeholders to drive solutions to supply problems and bridge gap as far as practicable.
- Actively supporting the Marketing team with product life cycle, portfolio management, price change and event management activities.
- Contributing to innovative proposals on new ways of working to drive improvements to customer satisfaction, turnover, profit and working capital.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor or master's degree in commerce, Business (with Supply Chain/Logistics) or Supply Chain Management
- Demonstrated work experience in Planning or Logistics
- Proficiency and experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP), especially MRP modules, Planning Tools (e.g. add*ONE, Boxx, DM) and MS Office Suite (e.g. Advanced MS Excel)
- Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional discussions, while influencing motivating and mentoring cross function teams.
- High level of accuracy and solid analytical skills, with ability to apply supply chain and planning knowledge in meeting requirements of the business
- Highly organised with the ability to self-lead, multitask and deal with a variety of activities in a customer centric, agile and solution conscious way
- Proficient in MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills
