How you will make contributions that matter:
Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Demand Planner/Controller based in Southbank, Melbourne. Reporting to the Senior Demand Planner - Cheese, you will manage the Demand control for all consumer goods categories and ensure the development, communication and accuracy of the sales forecast for the assigned product category.
Key elements of your role will include:
- Maintaining a high level of forecast accuracy as a key input into improving customer services levels whilst maximising supply chain efficiencies
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders internally (Sales, Customer Service, Supply Planners)
- Managing stock inventory to ensure alignment with budgeted targets.
- Developing plans and strategies around ageing stock
- Reviewing weekly / monthly forecast accuracy results
- Focusing on continuous improvement in an ongoing effort to improve products, services, and/or or processes.
This is a diverse role where your relationship-building skills will come into their own!
About you:
- Previous experience in a Planning role, either Demand or Supply
- Prior experience in the food manufacturing industry; an understanding of shelf life and the associated challenges
- Working experience in forecasting systems, & ERP systems, with SAP experience highly desirable
- Proficiency in Excel (pivots, formulas etc) to drive data-led decisions.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
