The Role:
We are seeking an initiative-taking individual with a talent for independent thinking and a passion for all aspects of demand. to join our Supply Chain team as a Demand Planner. In this role, you will delve into forecast performance analysis and provide invaluable insights to drive strategic business decisions alongside our Demand Planning Lead and commercial teams.
Your Day to Day!
- Forecasting Excellence: Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to predict market demand accurately, ensuring optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into market data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and production to align on demand forecasts and develop cohesive strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline demand planning processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Customer Focus: Anticipate customer needs and preferences by analysing market dynamics and consumer behaviour, ensuring timely product availability and superior service levels.
- KPI Management: Keep a pulse on performance indicators and craft actionable plans for continuous improvement through dynamic dashboards.
- Trend Analysis: Uncover, interpret, and communicate statistical forecast trends to guide informed decision-making.
- Risk Management: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and escalating potential demand plan risks and opportunities before they arise.
- Tool Management: Continuously & proactively using Demand Planning tools to enhance forecast analysis and performance monitoring.
About You!
- Strong experience in emand planning & forecasting
- SAP knowledge
- Power BI experience- preferred
- Excel experience
- Exceptional people skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and build cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
