PosteMoët Hennessy Australia & New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Demand Planner to join our Operations team in Sydney. Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, this role will include:
- Utilize APO & Anaplan to build demand plans for Australia & New Zealand
- Elevate the current forecasting process for ANZ
- Collaborate with the Sales and the Business Planning teams to understand demand drivers
- Drive the efficient management of stock into ANZ, including travel retail and MH Private
- Review and recommend enhancements to the Supply Chain functionality in collaboration with team members, supporting local projects & the regional IBP project
- Develop and maintain an operational relationship with MHA's appointed Logistics supplier, helping to ensure the highest level of communication in the process of importation and export.
Demand Planning
- Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Closely coordinate and communicate action plans with regional Supply Planning MHAP
- Review sales plans, budget updates or latest estimates and demand drivers
- Improve planning processes and models. Identify improvement opportunities, and drive projects to completion, to achieve targeted measurable benefits.
- Update monthly demand plan in APO to trigger on time replenishment for all 6 warehouses
- Ensure markets' forecast adhere to Maisons' S&OP guidelines provided due to supply/production constraints & allocations.
- Provide timely vintage switch (phase in phase out) and new product forecasts
- Assess SLOB inventory and conduct a monthly SLOB meeting with ANZ stakeholders
- Measure forecast accuracy by analysing forecasts in APO on a monthly basis and liaise with business to validate major differences vs previous months and/or past trends. Take a proactive approach to improve 'Sales forecast accuracy' and report to the region
- Proactive participation in the monthly forecast review meetings with markets and maisons
- Sharing of forecasts with the Wineries and establishing an S&OP process for Chandon & Cloudy Bay
- Integrate the Travel Retail forecasts and plan accordingly for right stock in the right place
- Support the Private Client team forecasting process to improve the forecast for the new D2C channel.
Projects
- Proactive management of slow moving and obsolete inventories (i.e. request for rework, re-allocation, re-labeling, product substitution)
- Support the implementation of the regional IBP project
- Building the Demand Planning function as part of Project Flow
- Integrate a phase in - phase out process for SKUs and enhance new SKU forecasts
ProfilYour Profile - Skills & Experience RequiredTo be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary Education/training in Supply Chain or Logistics a definite advantage
- Full English written and spoken proficiency
- Understanding of S&OP and sales forecast accuracy
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in a Demand Planning function
- Experience across other Supply Chain functions a benefit
- Experience within a multi-site location environment is of benefit
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, experience in SAP (SNP/APO).
- Strong problem/trouble shooting skills and process of follow up
- Ability to manage and influence 3rd party teams
- Attention to detail is a must including being a self-starter; good organiser
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively; ability to work under pressure and to adhere strictly to deadlines
