About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demand Planner join our team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, managing product demand changes, overseeing forecast planning, and integrating new products into supply chain plans. This role is pivotal for maintaining efficient operations and fostering continuous improvement.
Duties include:
- coordinating the S&OP process, incorporating market trends and expectations from Sales, Marketing, and Product development teams.
- analysing projections and compare them with business targets and objectives.
- providing regular feedback on forecast trends to key stakeholders.
- analysing customer and vendor demand to develop and fine-tune forecasts, considering purchase history, sales data, and marketing strategies.
- creating effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- evaluating proposed changes to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and market trends.
- updating system parameters in ERP based on evaluations.
- identifying, analysing, and making incremental improvements to various aspects such as systems and processes.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in a similar position with knowledge of manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution.
