Our client, a privately owned company in the FMCG sector, has exciting plans for significant growth in the next 4 years. They are working hard to ensure they have the best systems, procedures and processes whilst providing insights across the business to achieve best practise and effective demand planning. As such, they now seek an experienced Demand Planning Analyst to join the team.

Reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Supervisor, you will be accountable for overseeing demand planning activities for all sites providing valuable insights across sales, marketing, operations and customers whilst ensuring effective inventory management and supply chain optimisation.

The Position:

• Develop relationships and collaborate across the organisation, working closely with sales, marketing, operations and finance on an ongoing basis to lead effective demand forecasting and planning aligned to business strategies.
• Establish and embed demand planning cycle leveraging historical insights and market data, building models with sound decision making, always looking for process improvement and optimisation.
• Work with the key stakeholders to ensure forecast accuracy and performance whilst managing demand variability   
• Utilise and be the SME for demand forecasting software, tools and data analytics to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data, supported by reports and dashboards, providing real time information for key leaders.

The Person:

• With tertiary qualifications in Business, Maths or Supply Chain Management, you will have experience working in a related role including demand planning or supply chain within the FMCG, manufacturing or retail sector.  Experience working with data providing statistical analysis, data visualisation and forecasting methodologies will see you well placed to succeed.
• You will leverage your analytical mindset whilst interpreting complex data as well as your influencing and communication skills whilst partnering with key stakeholders across the business to achieve best practice in demand forecasts.
