Our practice is offering a casual Dental Assistant/Sterilisation assistant position. 1 day per week (Thursday).
About the role:
Chair side assisting the operators in all general dental procedures.
Maintaining the surgery in accordance with our practice infection control policy.
Processing and sterilising instruments.
Utilising state-of-the-art modern equipment.
Maintaining accurate patient records.
Assisting the front reception when required.
What we are looking for:
Must have a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting qualification.
Have a friendly and positive can-do attitude.
The ability to demonstrate exceptional patient care.
Works well under pressure.
Able to work well in a team orientated environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Maintain high quality of infection control standards.
Able to be flexible and adaptable.
Has the ability to tackle new challenges.
Knowledge of OASIS Practice & Management Software (desirable).
Experience in CEREC crown procedures is an advantage.
OPG License (desirable).
