Seeking Experienced Dental Assistants /clinical coordinator with good communication skills & a passion for helping in a health care setting to commence ASAP.
CHOICE DENTAL is an Accredited practice located in Browns Plains. Our professional team are committed to provide all our patients with the satisfaction of knowing they will receive quality service in a friendly and caring environment. We have been established for over 25yrs and offer a wide variety of modern comprehensive dental services that include Preventative, Restorative, Orthodontics, Invisalign, Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry to many local families.
About the role:
Current position is available due to a long term team member moving interstate.
This opportunity is for someone who has proven experience in dental Assisting, is self-motivated and possesses good communication skills. You’ll play a key role in clinical treatment and in performing some reception duties. Your energetic nature and strong organisation skills will help ensure the ongoing success of the practice and satisfaction of our patients. We offer a long-term secure position. Mon-Sat (approx. 35-38 hours per week depending on candidate). Casual position with the possibility to become permanent.
MUST - As per guidelines, Hep B antibody levels and current communicable disease status is required upon commencement.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven Dental Assistant Experience - general Chair-side
- Proficient with most or all dental procedures
- Process dental x-rays, instrument tracking, etc
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting Preferred
- Have excellent English communication skills -verbal & written
- Sterilisation skills & acquainted with current mandated infection control guidelines.
- Complies with OH&S & privacy regulations & personal hygiene standards
- Greeting & assisting patients
- Successfully build rapport & help patients feel at ease -someone who goes the extra mile to care for our patients and has a good work ethic.
- Some Dental reception experience preferred; Process patient payments, schedule & confirm appointments, handle telephone/email/web queries,
- Ability to interact within a team environment & continue to create a motivated team environment.
- Seek to continually improve standards within the Dental Service
