About our Team
Apple Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant for our modern and vibrant Lane Cove practice. We have a team of 4 Dentists, 2 Oral Health Therapists, 3 Front Office Staff and 6 Dental Assistants and would welcome an outgoing and motivated Dental Assistant to join our happy and friendly team. Lane Cove is a leafy Lower North Shore suburb with a wonder village atmosphere.
Apple Dental is located very close to a major bus interchange and is easily accessible by public transport. On street parking is also available. Day to day tasks and responsibilities are to provide clinical and administrative assistance to one of our practice clinicians in a range of dental services. Certificate III or higher in Dental Assisting is ideal but not essential for the right applicant.
Understanding of infection control and sterilization policies. Confidence in performing reception duties would be preferred and flexibility with days and hours is an advantage. Job tasks and responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant in our thriving practice, you’ll play a key role in clinical treatment. You’ll confidently and expertly provide high quality clinical and administrative assistance to practice clinicians, as well as engage with patients in a positive and professional way. Your energetic nature and strong organisational skills will help to ensure the ongoing success of the practice and the satisfaction of patients.
Day to day tasks and responsibilities are to provide clinical and administrative assistance to one of our practice clinicians in a range of dental services.
Skills and experience
- Certificate III or higher in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential for the right applicant.
- Confident in performing reception duties would be preferred.
- Understanding of infection control & sterilisation policies.
- Flexibility with days and hours is an advantage.
- Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Previous experience using Dental 4 Windows (D4W) - desirable
