Dental Assistant - Part Time

We are expanding and are looking for a wonderful new team member to join our growing dental surgery - Part Time.

Portside Dental is a stunning, brand new, designer dental surgery located in Melbourne’s Bayside suburb of Newport. We provide all facets of dental care including Invisalign and cosmetic injectables.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is now available to join our growing team.  We are seeking a Part Time Dental Assistant to help us continue our journey of growth. These roles offer varied experiences and opportunities to develop your skills and interests. We welcome new fresh eyes and ideas to help us build on our already tried and tested procedures and processes.

The position will consist of duties including:

• Chair side assisting for a range of dental treatments
• Instrument sterilisation procedures and room changeovers
• Scope to extend your skill set to perform procedures such as intraoral scanning and other record taking.

  Skills and Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Self motivated and enthusiastic
• Eagerness to learn
• Team player
• Computer literate
• Prior Dental Assisting experience is essential
• Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting is preferred
• Excellent understanding of infection control

Part time position involves 1-2 days a week and involves working Saturday mornings with room to grow.
