Are you an experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist or have no prior experience and wanting a career change, we want to hear from you! We have full-time postion available for an immediate start.
Experience is preferrable but not essential - training and ongoing support will be provided. (succesful applicant must be willing to complete Certificate 111 in dental assisting if not already obtained).
We are looking for a motivated, friendly, initiative, honest and reliable Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.
Roles that are associated with this postion are:
Chair side dental assisting, basic general laboratory duties, assisting reception as and when required, this includes coordinating the front desk, processing payments using EFTPOS, Hicaps, Cash, Medicare and DVA, managing appointments and responding to Patient enquiries via telephone SMS and email.
Applicants are required to obtain and display following attributes:
* Is skilled at multitasking, motivated, organised, enjoys responsibility and is efficient in time management.
* Excellent communication skills, practicing calm and caring attitude for patients and clear and professional etiqutte.
* Has up to date knowledge and understanding of infection control guidelines/standards, I.e cleaning of environments, sterilisation of instruments and hand hygiene practices.
* Ability to follow instructions and comprehend, actively adhere to all standards, guidelines and procedures relative to the dental industry and our dental practice.
* Adaptable to constant change, flexible and helpful team member and a proactive learner.
* Respectful, friendly, empathetic, and positive personality.
