Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. Your primary role will be to provide exceptional customer service, assist the dentist chairside, patient care, manage appointments, sterilisation and create a positive and efficient environment for both our patients and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Sterilisation duties or setting up rooms.
- Chairside assisting.
- Provide exceptional patient care and assist Dentists.
- Recording treatment info in patient records.
- Warmly welcome patients and visitors to our clinic.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordination.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Verify insurance information and process claims.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with billing and payment processing.
- Collaborate closely with our dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Willingness to engage in continuing education to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technology
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist is preferred but not essential.
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
- A positive and friendly attitude with a passion for patient care.
