Responsibilities
Working alongside our other dental assistant, you will see yourself with responsibilities such as:
- Providing chair-side assistance to dental specialists in all aspects of dental care
- Managing new and existing patients of the practice, including scheduling appointments and completing billings using practice management software
- Maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment, including sterilising and processing dental instruments in preparation for patients
- Servicing patients over the phone, via email correspondence, and in person
- Liaising with the rest of the dental team to communicate patient needs and bookings
Requirements
- Prior experience in the dental field and/or Certificate III or above in Dental Assisting is highly regarded
- Bilingual (Mandarin and English speaking) is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientated with a professional and positive attitude
- High attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
