To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahscAbout the RoleAs the Dental Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of dental services to patients, including but not limited to emergency treatments, general examinations and preventative treatments, restorations, minor oral surgical procedures, x-rays, extractions, root canal treatments and design/management of prosthodontics. In this role you will: Liaise with the senior Dental Officer (depending on clinic size), medical officers, nursing officers, and specialist dental providers to provide comprehensive dental carePlay a vital role in promoting and maintaining the good oral health of personnel in accordance with Defence Policies and ProceduresEnsure that patients are dentally fit for deploymentAbout the Robertson Health CentreRobertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of the city of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 defence staff, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The Health Centre provides primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services, and operates a 22-bed 24/7 ward.
