About the Role

We are looking for a savvy Front Office Supervisor to join our incredible practice. This is a leadership role that will give room and scope to grow and have significant input into the evolution of our practice in  the local community.  You will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service to our patients and the Your Smile Dental team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, patient management, staff training,  performance evaluation, compliance and fostering a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

•          Lead, train, and develop the Front Office team
•          Excel in dental administration duties and provide exceptional customer service
•          Assist in recruiting, induction and training staff, ensuring alignment with job  requirements and expectations
•          Address day-to-day challenges and escalate when necessary
•          Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures 
•          Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
•          Conduct performance & development appraisals and training needs analysis
•          Work in conjunction with the Practice Manager & Clinic Supervisor
•          The ability to multitask multiple priorities at once
•          Ability to handle high volume inbound calls
•          Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•          Have a high attention to detail
•          An ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient and practice matters

 About You

•         Experienced in customer service leadership roles
•          Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Selection Criteria

•          Minium 1 years’ experience in a Management or a Supervisor role (Essential)
•          Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Front Office (Essential) 
•          Previous dental practice experience (highly desirable)
•          Previous medical or allied health experience (desirable)
•          Proficient with Microsoft Word and general IT skills 
•      Exceptional interpersonal skills 
•      Excellent complaint resolution skills 
•      Able to communicate effectively with a variety of people 
•      Must have full unrestricted Australian working rights
