ABOUT THE PRACTICE:
This is a busy and vibrant 4 room practice. With a focus squarely on being primarily a healthcare provider this sits at the core of all their activities.
Join an energetic and youthful team committed to excellence and who foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and positivity.
Work alongside a talented and vibrant admin and reception coordinator, bubbly energetic team of 4 early career DA’s, passionate Hygienists and 3 Dentists.
Strategically located in the city with off-street parking for convenience.
Recognising the connections between oral health, physical health, and mental wellbeing, this team have created a thriving hygiene department central to the practice vision.
Pioneering biofilm testing in the hygiene department showcases their commitment to cutting-edge practices.
This team's long-term goal is a positive, happy, and effective workplace fostering staff cohesion and patient care.
ABOUT YOU:
- Integrates well with the existing team and inspires younger staff.
- Is super organised, well-presented, and friendly.
- Possess sound industry experience and knowledge.
- Eager to support the wonderful principal dentist in team management.
- Exhibits a calming and caring demeanour towards patients.
- Forecasts potential issues proactively.
- Open to further outsourced practice management training.
- Can facilitate training for the front desk in biofilm testing.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is ideally a full time role Monday – Friday
Administrative:
- Management of Front Desk operations
- Ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional experiences
- Handle patient quoting and treatment explanations
- Efficiently manage finances
- Liaise with suppliers and technicians as needed
- Manage appointment bookings and maintain the cancellation list
Team:
- Serve as the first point of contact for team queries
- Ensuring all wage conditions are met and processes followed
- Provide training and mentoring
- Organise and assist with performance reviews
- Support the growth of our hygiene department
- Onboard new team members
Infection and Quality Control:
- Oversee room changeovers and maintain infection control standards
- Ensure proper sterilisation processes are followed
Liaise with the Principal Dentist:
- Establish clear systems and processes within the practice
- Collaborate on business development initiatives and marketing strategies
Business Development:
- Work with directors to grow our patient base
- Oversee social media growth and marketing efforts
- Utilise software to maintain data base health
