In the role, you will:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar, ensuring a seamless patient journey
- Schedule follow-up appointments and reminders
- Provide information to patients about services, procedures, and fees
- Process and manage patient accounts
- Manage the appointment book/recall system
- Resolve patient queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, emailing, and scanning documents
- The role may require infrequent chairside assistance
You bring with you:
- Previous experience in dental reception
- The ability to quickly establish rapport and build trusting relationships with new and existing patients
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
- Friendly, professional and approachable disposition
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and a passion for dentistry
- Excellent diary management skills
- Attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
