Dental Receptionist
WHITE HILLS DENTAL PRACTICE
We are currently expanding and looking for an experienced Dental receptionist/administrative person/s to join our team.
2 POSITIONS TO BE FILLED
1 full time position
1 part time position (between 10-20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients with a friendly demeanour.
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
- Collect and update patient information accurately.
- Take billings, insurance, CDBS and DVA payments etc.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and referrals.
- Daily procedures including balancing tills, cash, end of day report, etc.
Requirements:
- Previous dental experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to adjust to new and upcoming procedures
- Knowledgeable about sterilisation and be able to help around the practice.
