SalaryDental Members Wickham Terrace, has a rare opening for an experienced Dental Receptionist. We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and skilled individual to be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a welcoming and organised environment. Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, check them in and out, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow to ensure the office operates smoothly.
- Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between patients, dentists, and our head office. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and relay messages accurately and promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Treatment Coordination: Assist dentists in discussing finance or payment plan options with patients, schedule clinical time and anaesthetists keeping abreast of treatment across multiple providers to ensure the patient experience is smooth
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist in a multi chair dental practice.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills. Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and dental practice management software (Praktika would be highly advantegous)
- Attributes: A friendly demeanor, professionalism, and the ability to appropriately prioritise varying tasks with a clear head, in a fast-paced environment.
- Dental Assistant experience is highly regarded
- Cert 3 Dental Assisting and relevant administration qualifications, while not essential, are highly regarded.
