Dental Technician

Role Description

We're looking for an experienced and qualified Dental Technician to join our Melbourne Smiles Dental Laboratory team. Your main area to focus on to begin with our custom mouthguards for the upcoming mouthguard season.

The role is Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

Responsibilities for Dental Technician:

• Ensuring that all dental appliances meet high quality standards
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced role while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
• Expectations of a Dental Technician to be able to do: Poor Impressions; Trim models; Duplicate models; and Complete high volume of Custom Mouthguards per day. 
• Working towards: Splints; Denture repairs; Denture relines; Wax work; Tooth additions; Flasking; Processing; Trimming; Polishing; Small partial acrylic dentures; Denture Set ups and finishes.

   Requirements:

• Dental Technician qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality appliances
• Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
