Role description:
We are looking for an engineer with experience in both solution design and project deployment. You will understand client needs and be able to design solutions based on customer requirements / best practices. It will be essential to demonstrate technical competence by being responsible for project design through to handover to the customer. additionally you will be supporting head office with BAU Support for MSP customers when not consulting direct with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the unique needs of Private Education clients as compared with Enterprise clients.
- Design the most appropriate solutions for a specific environment and available budget.
- Assist in the sales process by translating technical concepts to business needs.
- Ability to write technically sound scopes of work, customer proposals and as-built documents.
- Influence decision-makers by being a reliable technical business partner.
- Engage with on-site teams, contractors and other Accucom staff to implement solutions within budget and allocated time frames.
- Train and upskill to best understand products and become a knowledge leader within the industry.
Requirements
- Strong Technical Background in networking, server storage or security.
- Experience and certification with Tier One vendors including but not limited to Aruba, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HPE
- Experience within MSP environments.
- A Working with Children check.
