Milton Therapy and Learning Centre (TLC) is keen to speak with passionate Administration Support officers who are looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people and their families living in the Shoalhaven. Permanent full-time position available at our Milton centre with part-time applications considered.
TLC is a family-centred practice on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. Based in the picturesque towns of Milton and Sanctuary Point (Jervis Bay) and servicing much of the Shoalhaven area, TLC offers paediatric Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Early Intervention and Positive Relationship Services.
TLC is heavily involved in our community as major supporters of initiatives such as the Disabled Surfers Association South Coast, Sensory Friendly Santa, and community education programs. The Role
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service for families and healthcare professionals.
Client Management:
- Greet families in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments, manage cancellations, and confirm bookings
- Maintain accurate client records in line with privacy regulations
Reception Duties:
- Answer phones, manage enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Provide general information about the practice and our services
Administrative Support:
- Manage practice supplies and resources
- Prepare invoices and process payments
- Maintain practice databases and filing systems
- Assist with correspondence and reports
- Complete administrative tasks as directed by the Practice Manager
General
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming reception area
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Essential criteria
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an administration role (preferably in a health care setting)
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strengths based understanding of disability
