Are you a logistics enthusiast looking for a crucial role in the road transport industry? We are seeking a full-time Depot Scheduler based in Darwin. In this position, you will coordinate day to day fuel deliveries from terminals to customers and company sites. You will ensure the efficient operation of our fleet, optimise routes, and uphold safety standards while meeting customer service level requirements.
Who We Are:
Recharge Petroleum is a Fuel Distribution and Transport company that plays a crucial role in supporting the fuel supply of Northern Western Australia and the Northern Territory. With strategically located depots throughout Northern WA and NT, we specialise in deliveries to mining, retail, aviation, exploration camps, cattle stations, and remote communities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily bulk fuel deliveries, optimising fleet utilisation
- Reduce operating costs through efficient load maximisation, route planning, and driver scheduling
- Keep accurate records of scheduled deliveries in compliance with fatigue management requirements
- Actively engage with drivers and customers
- Manage driver rosters, timesheets, and schedule servicing and maintenance of trucks
Skills Required:
- Previous scheduling experience is highly advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with Fatigue Management and national heavy vehicles regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of the NT regional areas desirable
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, making optimal logistic decisions under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on solution-based outcomes
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- A background in transport and logistics is preferred
