Deputy Director of Emergency Medicine
ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

We are currently seeking a Deputy Director of Emergency Medicine. The ERH Emergency Department (ED) manages in excess of 21,000 presentations per annum. Reporting to the Director of Emergency Medicine, the Deputy Director of Emergency Medicine is responsible for:
- Supporting the Director in the provision of excellence in Emergency Medicine at ERH
- Promote and deliver excellence in Emergency Medicine training to Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) trainees, prevocational trainees and other health professionals and students
- When rostered clinically, assess and treat all categories of patients presenting to the Emergency Department along best practice guidelines, including stabilisation of the acutely ill patient
- Maintaining the senior roster for the Emergency Department in collaboration with the Director and Medical Workforce Unit
- Act for the Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine during leave or as otherwise operationally required
