Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Administration)
Salary package: $109,945 - $117,567 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, Continuing
Position Description and Selection Criteria: PD&PEWER_Deputy Manager, Human Resources_ANU8.pdf

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the newly created HR Business Partnering function across the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics, ANU College of Law, ANU College of Science and the Central University Portfolios.

The Position
The HR Business Partnering team has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified senior HR practitioner to join a team that provides high-quality HR support to a broad range of clients across the University.

You will provide support and guidance on complex HR issues, and identify ways to continuously improve team performance and build capability. You will be a trusted advisor to the business and work with leaders providing expert strategic and operational HR advice and support across a range of HR matters, such as workforce planning, performance and capability development design, case management, culture and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, work health and safety, and implementation of contemporary people management strategies.

The Person
We are looking for someone with a high-level of knowledge and understanding of contemporary Human Resources issues, someone who can think big picture and operationalise key initiatives to facilitate a positive campus culture. We are looking for someone with a proven track record on fostering a culture of continuous development and the ability to develop a high functioning team.
You will have proven experience as a HR business partner, experience working across the full employment lifecycle, the willingness to look for solutions, and the ability to work with a fair degree of autonomy. Your will be an adept communicator with the ability to quickly establish credibility and forge lasting relationships with clients. You will be a proactive thinker who collaborates across the business to provide innovative, data driven decisions for your client group.

A Diverse and Inclusive Team
ANU is a large, diverse employer with staff working across numerous professions. We are a recipient of the bronze award through the Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) program and a platinum member of the Australian Network on Disability. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and identities and from individuals who may have had a non-linear career path, career gaps or career breaks. We aim to be an inclusive and diverse community of students and staff, representative of the world around us, and where every member feels a sense of belonging and common purpose. To achieve this goal, we work to increase equity and access towards equality.
