About the Role
Queens Beach State School in beautiful Bowen in North Queensland only an hour from Airlie Beach is looking for a new Deputy Principal to join our Leadership Team. This position is initially till December 2024, unless otherwise determined. Accommodation will be assisted.

You will closely collaborate with the Principal, Curriculum Coach, HOI and the Wellbeing and Engagement Coach. As Deputy Principal you will lead Wellbeing and Engagement. The Deputy Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.The Deputy Principal will be an instructional leader who will provide teaching and learning leadership to influence pedagogy and drive student outcomes alongside the Principal and Leadership Team, with an Equity and Excellence Lens, leading a team of teachers to support students to become confident, creative & accomplished learners.
