A remarkable opportunity exists for a passionate and innovative individual to join the Urangan State High School Leadership team in the position of Deputy Principal. This role is offered on a full-time temporary basis, starting as soon as possible until 21 June 2024, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
The Deputy Principal role will be responsible for timetabling, staffing and human resources within the school. Previous experience in these areas is desirable, but not essential.
Further responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the Deputy Principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
