Western Suburbs State Special School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Principal to play a pivotal role in our school. This is a temporary full-time position commencing 15 April 2024 until 21 June 2024, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Specific knowledge and expertise around supporting PBL implementation and Zones of Regulation in a Special School context.
- Demonstrated knowledge around Classroom Profiling and the use of Essential Skills for Classroom Management (ESCM).
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of leading the Australian curriculum V9.
- Understanding and demonstrated skills in the use of AAC and Comprehensive Literacy Instruction.
- Leading Complex Case Management in a Special School environment.
- Leading priorities aligned to the school's Annual Implementation Plan.
