Form of workWe are seeking a Design and Development Assistant to join an Australian owned private label offshore manufacturer. They collaborate with top brands and retailers.
Your responsibilities will revolve around close collaboration with sales, design, and production teams, as well as engaging with offshore suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Account Manager in various sales and product-related tasks.
- Develop CADS and storyboards for clients.
- Create graphics and artwork.
- Manage the approval process for lab dips and prints.
- Contribute to creating costing boards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2-3 years of fashion industry experience and relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Knowledgeable about fabrics and yarns.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive 'Can-do' attitude with the ability to complete tasks.
- Capable of working to tight deadlines.
- Team player in a collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator.
