About you: You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture and/or Interior Design and be working within the Senior Executive Team as a Project Lead on large luxury mixed commercial apartment projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-quality planning and design of building interiors, integrating aesthetics with HVAC, plumbing, safety, electrical, and structural systems.
- Implement design solutions, standards, and controls to ensure quality across all projects.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, Design Managers, and Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop templates for client requirements, site studies, cost estimations, and work allocation.
- Execute risk management activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and HSE standards.
- Standardize methodologies and procedures to ensure consistent quality.
- Utilise project management systems for effective communication and data analysis.
- Oversee all design operations and ensure alignment with project specifications and cost estimates.
- Resolve design and engineering issues, serving as the technical resource for the team.
- Monitor consultant activities to ensure contract compliance and quality.
- Facilitate design problem-solving during construction phases.
- Organise and review design documents and consultant submissions.
- Assist in scope review, budgeting, and design change justifications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align activities with business objectives.
- Support business development with design inputs and client presentations.
- Develop project-specific RFPs and drive remedial actions.
- Interface with clients regarding project-specific solutions.
- Advise on estimates and monitor project performance.
- Ensure compliance with QA and HSE standards.
- Enhance overall project delivery through cross-discipline collaboration.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Build professional relationships to stay informed about innovations in interior design.
- Adopt and adapt industry best practices to rejuvenate and upgrade interior design functions.
