What will you do?
In this position you will join our energy and industrial business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘Bring Ideas to Life’ for our clients. With focus across a range of major to mid-sized rail, transmission & distribution and renewable projects, we are actively recruiting for those who are passionate about working collaboratively and strengthening their technical expertise.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’;
- Working under the guidance of a Senior Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of detailed secondary designs, for utility, rail and industrial clients.
- Coordinating the secondary design with the primary design (and non-electrical disciplines)
- Document control duties (updates, revisions and transmittal of designs to clients)
- Opportunities to explore and help develop digital initiatives and innovations
We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. In addition we’re looking for:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or in the process of finishing the course)
- Knowledge of substations and secondary systems (knowledge of substation primary design is favourable)
- Knowledge of ProjectWise document control system is preferred
- Ability to use Microstation/Autocad CAD software
- 3D Modelling experience is favourable (such as Revit)
- Self-driven with ability to work with others
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
