Design Engineer

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our client's organisation!Our client is a successful, international medical device manufacturer, dedicated to improving human health. As a result of strong growth, they require the skills of a Design Engineer to join their organisation on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Successful Candidate is a reliable individual with outstanding work ethic, excellent attention to detail, great technical aptitude, and can work effectively in a busy manufacturing environment.
Experience with the design and development of perfusion tubing system (PTS) packs is highly advantageous.The Successful Candidate will enjoy these benefits:

Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Design and development - D&D of new products and modifications to existing products, ensuring they are biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1, handling new component requests, component testing and validation
• Processing of customer product sample requests, review design and manage set-up, managing customer and internal design issues, and completing CAPAs
• Support projects involving manufacturing process improvements
• Train staff with understanding and interpreting new product design drawings

Essential skills and requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering or related
• Experienced user of AutoCAD
• Strong experience with working in an environment that requires adherences to ISO 13485, ISO 1099301, and TGA regulations
• Experience working in a busy GMP manufacturing environment highly advantageous
• Great team player attitude and great interpersonal skills
• Great communication skills - Both written and verbal along with basic computer skills
• Ability to learn quickly and efficiently - Able to work under pressure
• Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
