About the role
As Design Engineer you will join an international network of designers serving the American, European and South Pacific markets to design individual implants for neuro, oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
What you will do

• Prepare medical image data and create anatomical models using our specialized 3D design software
• Design patient-specific implants in consultation with the attending surgeon
• Work closely with both internal teams within Sydney, as well as with international teams in Europe and USA within the organization.
• Act as point of contact for the internal process organization (such as Manufacturing and Customer Service) as well as external customers, including medical professionals

What you need

• Strong customer focus and exceptional communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
• Basic understanding of the human anatomy
• Professional experience working with CAD and medical image data highly regarded
• Degree or apprenticeship in a relevant field of study (engineering or applied sciences)
