Due to expansion, we are looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer (or similar discipline) to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design piping and irrigation systems using CAD tools, with a focus on constructability and efficiency.
Select appropriate materials for projects and production considering functionality, cost, and compatibility with requirements and standards.
Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing, including assembly instructions, material lists, and production guidelines.
Develop project documentation, such as design specifications, drawings, piping and isometric diagrams, material take-offs, 3D model, and maintenance and installation manuals, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements and designs.
Collaborate with manufacturing and project management teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently, addressing any design modifications required during production or installation.
Stay updated on the latest industry standards, manufacturing technologies, and documentation best practices to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of design and documentation processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design, specifically in piping systems, with a robust understanding of design for manufacturing and documentation practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, as well as experience with document management systems and documentation software.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work on complex projects with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear and detailed technical documentation and drawings.
