Project Engineer - Decommissioning

Excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with decommissioning experience to work at a world leading bio medical manufacturing business, on a very exciting project!

• Exciting long-term contract opportunity (12 Months)
• World leading biomedical manufacturing business
• Based in the northern part of the CBD, Melbourne

Role:

• Decommissioning tasks related to shut down of an existing manufacturing facility.
• Varied role with many different tasks related to exit of the site, examples include but not limited to:

• May need to note chemicals in building – arrange quotes for chemical disposal
• Manufacturing equipment to be decommissioned – write protocols for approval
• Take equipment off of SAP
• Arrange decontamination
• Catalogue of existing stock and what will occur with it (ie destruction or move to next site)
• Review access to buildings
• Determining shut down dates with various areas

Must have:

• Decommissioning experience would be ideal
• Great attitude and keen to learn, hands on, problem solver, ‘get it done’ attitude
• (Operational background could be considered)

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor degree in a relevant Engineering or Science field.
• Relevant experience in similar industry – food/pharma/oil and gas
• GMP industry experience
• Experience in decommissioning equipment, facilities and systems desirable.
