As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design process for our construction projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to translate project requirements into innovative design solutions that align with clients' vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the design phase of construction projects, overseeing all aspects of design development and implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish design goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead the creation of design concepts, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct design reviews and presentations to communicate project progress, solicit feedback, and address any design-related issues or challenges.
- Manage relationships with external design consultants, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination and integration of design elements into the construction process.
- Mentor and coach design team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Manager or within leadership role throughout the construction industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful high-rise projects across various construction sectors.
- Knowledge of design software (Revit).
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
