About the role
We are seeking a Project Manager who can manage multiple projects from establishment through to completion, with experience in multi residential construction.
Duties include:
- Proactive project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, to quality and under budget
- Prepare and manage project programmes and proactively monitor project progress
- Manage all project financials including budget, forecasting, payments and head contract progress claims
- Manage the procurement, establishment and administration of subcontracts and supply agreements for successful project delivery
- Regular reporting of project progress and financials
- Identify project risks and develop risk management plans
- Attend/conduct client, design, site and other project planning and delivery meetings
- Lead project team/s to maximise the contributions of each member
- Manage compliance with the regulatory environment including liaising with council and regulatory authorities, oversee ITPs and proactively manage the worksite
- Ensure all project and company requirements outlined in the Integrated Management System are met
- Manage stakeholder relationships including client, consultant, architects and internal staff
About You
Ideally you will possess the following:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager within the Australian multi residential construction industry
- Tertiary qualifications in construction management or equivalent
- Minimum intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in MS Project and Procore or equivalent construction software
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent analytical, negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience meeting deadlines and budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Can delegate effectively and work cohesively with a team
- The ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders
