Are you looking to step into a Design Services Coordinator role with a leading Sydney Council?
A temporary full time position (35 hours per week) is available within the Design Services Division of a leading Council is Sydney's south west.The Design Services Coordinator is a key position in this Council and is responsible for providing advice and making recommendations on civil design, traffic, transport, and road safety issues.
You will be required to effectively deal with stakeholders at all levels and represent Council to developers, consultants, other government agencies, and the general public.
Knowledge of local Government and relevant engineering policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and practices will be highly regarded.
About you:
- Australian Citizen or resident with unlimited work rights
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with project management and civil design, preferably gained in large, complex work environments
- Ability to lead a team
- Highly developed written, communication and research skills to prepare concise and accurate reports and preparing grant submissions.
- Current driver's licence
- Flexible working arrangements including working from home and various Council offices
- Free or subsidised parking available
- 35 hour working week
- Great office location which is close to public transport
